"Designed as an all-around mid-length for California surf, the Avocet 2+1 follows the wider form factor of its displacement hull cousin the Clandestino but with the functionality of single to spiral-vee concave and tucked-under edge. The added fin surface area of side fins coupled with this tried-and-true concave combination results in an extremely easy board to surf. Consider it a “desert-island” board for most conditions we find here in California. The wide-point back pintail holds well in bigger surf, while providing an accelerated curve that works in concert with the exit rocker to produce a surprisingly responsive foil.
